Skyy Clark is playing phenomenal basketball for the UCLA Bruins right now. Sitting at 5-1 on the season, they have improved on both ends of the floor. Since opening up the season with two uninspiring wins against Eastern Washington and Pepperdine. Games in which they didn’t come close to covering as huge favorites. Leading some questions to believe how this UCLA team would be this year. Considering they have been in talks to compete for a Big Ten championship.

Clark was one of the returning starters along with Eric Dailey Jr. and Tyler Bilodeau. Pairing the trio with the transfers in of Donovan Dent and Xavier Booker. Giving UCLA a veteran starting five and a group of guys who know about March basketball. Putting together the best team Cronin has had since the Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Johnny Juzang teams. One that can make another run deep into March after last season's round of 32 flame out.

With Bilodeau now sidelined due to injury, Clark will be asked to take his game to even another level. He was able to live up to that task against Presbyterian. Scoring from all levels in route to a 22 point effort on 9 of 11 shooting for the night. But the schedule is now heating up, and Clark will need to do it against big time opponents. Big Ten foes and top 10 teams included, there will be primetime action ahead.

Clark is currently putting together a shooting line of 49/45/83.3 which are all career highs. If he can keep up that play, UCLA should be able to weather the storm of Bilodeau being out. With his ability to shoot the ball and a pull up jumper that is elite. Clark could start to push his way onto NBA Draft boards with a strong 2025. Because jump shooting is very coveted in the NBA and can make for long successful careers.
