UCLA will be in need of a lot of talent to replace what is leaving. Forbes would be a tremendous addition if they could bring her in. She has veteran experience playing for three years and is a two-way player something that the entire UCLA starting lineup was this past season. Repeating a championship will not be easy, especially losing your top six players. Forbes is a good player that could be a start to that rebuild.
Forbes also showed signs of improving her 3-point shot. She only shot 15% her freshman year but two years later on five attempts per game just shot 34.5%. With more spacing and opportunities on the floor that could continue to increase. Players that transferred to UCLA seem to fit in well with Cori Close offensive system. That alone could grow Forbes game with her one year of eligibility remaining.

UCLA figures to have two starters and trench for this upcoming season in 2026. Sienna Betts and Lena Bilić have been waiting in the wings for their opportunity. They were both freshman this past season on the championship winning team. Now the Bruins will look to get three players in around them. Allowing them to remain in contention for future championships. There will be a ton of change but that also creates great oppotunities for a new era of basketball.
