UCLA is bringing in a big receiver in the 2027 class in 6’2 Rob Larson. The tall receiver out of Folsom, CA, adds to a great class that Bob Chesney has put together. One that has the UCLA Bruins as the No. 4 class as ranked by 247sports. Larson is No. 57 in California rankings and No. 76 in the country ranked among wide receivers. He is set to have a big senior season after a gigantic junior season.

In his junior season at Folsom, Larson had 82 catches for 1,146 yards and an insane 18 touchdowns. He provides great size and will only continue to bulk up his frame as he gets older as well. Giving him the opportunity to come in for 2027 and compete for playing time. Since UCLA will lose both Leland Smith and Landon Ellis in the future that are their two big receivers on the outside.

UCLA had to battle with other schools for Larson’s commitment. He also holds offers from Vanderbilt, California and Arizona. He is a 3-star prospect and might even get up to being a 4-star if he has a big 2026 senior season. After what he did in his junior year, it will be hard to replicate. But now with his commitment under wraps, he can go out and play and not worry about that. Now it’s just getting him to signing day.

UCLA is having a 2027 class that is being knocked out of the park. This is a big time commitment for the Bruins as well. They have really built their defense over the last few weeks. Now they’re focusing on bringing in offensive players. Along with Jayshon Gibson and Duece Jones-Drew. The 2027 offensive class is coming together. As they look to build around their future and Madden Iamaleava taking over for his brother Nico when he graduates out.
