Jordan Adams was one of the most gifted scorers ever to come through UCLA. He played in 69 games for the school and averaged 16.4 points per game. That ranks No. 8 in school history. He could get downhill to the basket and also had a pretty good 3-point shot. When teams would foul him, he converted at an 83.9% clip from the free-throw line as well. He played a very smooth game of basketball. Helping lead UCLA to 53 wins in his two seasons at the school.
People forget how good Jordan Adams was. Adams started 63 games from 2012-2013 and scored 1,131 career points before being a 1st Rd draft pick in 2014.@UCLAMBB #ucla #bruins

Adams would then enter the NBA Draft after a very good sophomore season. Becoming a first round draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies. Adams not only was a very good offensive player. He was also a good defensive player. His freshman season he averaged 2.2 steals per game. Then in his sophomore season he got even better and averaged 2.6 steals per game. Being one of the top players in the nation in that category.
In his sophomore season he averaged 17.4 points per game and did so on a shooting line of 48.5/35.6/83.6. He was a very efficient player and usually made the right play on offense. When UCLA needed a bucket he could go and get the team the points that they needed. We have seen some really good UCLA seasons from guards, but the efficiency that Adams did it on was amazing to watch.
Unfortunately, his NBA career ended after only 32 games. He did battle injuries that limited his ability to have a big impact. By 2020 he was playing basketball overseas and playing pretty decent. He has shown he is able to still score the ball at a high level. There are some different highlights that show he can still shoot and get downhill to the basket. It’s good to see he has been able to overcome the injuries and still play basketball. His impact at UCLA was a big factor on two really good teams.
A basketball maestro's farewell! Jordan Adams leaves fans in awe with an astounding 39 points in his last game in Indonesia. From UCLA to this unforgettable moment, Adams' impact on the court is undeniable. A true basketball star shines bright. #AdamsBasketballFarewell #39Points pic.twitter.com/0GsY4A9gGm
