No, and even though these teams' conference schedules differ, some have had more noteworthy non-conference victories than others, and certain schools have successful climbed up the conference standings at the midway point of the month, the ranking systems covered in these state of California power rankings still have a significant influence on the rankings.
Are these rankings arbitrary and up for debate?
Given that no power rating is perfect or optimal, the answer is yes. Unlike other college basketball power rankings, the state of California power rankings were created using specific criteria.
