UCLA athletics now has 122 national champions

Men's Basketball: The most nationally recognized program is the men's basketball program with an astonishing 11 NCAA national titles. Legendary coach John Wooden led the Bruins to an astonishing 10 championships in 12 seasons, including a record-breaking seven straight wins (1967-1973). Coach Jim Harrick secured another title in 1995.
Men's Volleyball: The most decorated program this past weekend, clinched their 21st national championship, achieving back-to-back national titles.
Other National Champions: Championships span through various sports including the women's soccer team which won a national title in 2022 as well in 2013. The men's water polo team has won multiple national championships, 12 in total, the softball also won 12 national titles, with the last one being in 2019, and the women's gymnastics program has seven nation titles with six of them being in the 2000s. The number one-seeded UCLA men's volleyball team defeated Long Beach State, the No. 2 seed, in four sets this past weekend to capture the 2024 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship. The match's scores were 25-21, 25-20, 27-29, and 25-21. The win resulted in the program's 21st NCAA men's volleyball championship, the first back-to-back championships for the Bruins since the 1995 and 1996 campaigns and the school's 122nd NCAA title in all sports.
