In this continued rivalry, UCLA has won 39 games and Oregon 32, going back to 1928. These two teams have played one another nine times since the 2010 season.

Oregon has a four-game winning streak in this rivalry, having won the last four games between these universities.

Oregon defeated UCLA at home by a final score of 45-30 at the last meeting between both institutions in 2022.

When it was announced that the Ducks, along with Washington, would be joining the Big Ten, this rivalry was guaranteed to continue. Oregon has won ten of the last eleven games between these two schools on the football field, but the Bruins hope to balance the rivalry in the next couple of years by defeating Oregon and making it a more balanced rivalry.

Looking at the rivalry as a whole, it is more balanced than you may think. For example, Oregon has not always dominated this rivalry, as it has done for the most part since 2000. From 1945 to 1999, UCLA won 31 out of the 39 games they played the Ducks. The rivalry should balance itself out in terms of UCLA and Oregon going on long winning streaks as they are both members of the Big Ten conference.

UCLA's current and future opponents, Oregon and Washington, will be played at least every other year. The only other team they will play more is USC, their annual Big Ten-protected rival.
