UCLA athletics has a strong social media presence as seen through various studies who keep track of college athletic teams and departments social media accounts.
Here are some examples of where UCLA has been ranked number one in social media account rankings for athletics.

UCLA Football has added Cal and Utah to their future schedule. The Bruins agreed to drop home and away games with Georgia and Auburn to make room in their future non-conference schedules to include two soon to be former Pac-12 teams on their future non-conference schedules.

UCLA announced a familiar name as their head performance coach for their football program as Corey Miller returns to Westwood. He returns to the UCLA football program after being the assistant director of strength and conditioning in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers.

UCLA football announced their themes for this season's home football games. The main highlight is the Bruins homecoming game which is on a Friday when UCLA hosts Iowa.
