First Team All-Patriot league guard out of Lehigh, Nasir Whitlock is another big-time scoring guard to hit the transfer portal. As the portal continues to load up with a ton of talent. Whitlock adds his name to the list after a good season with Lehigh where he averaged 20.5 points per game. He did so on a good shooting line of 46.6/43.3/78.8. Showing that he is a three-level scorer and should garner interest from high majors.

Whitlock spent all three of his college seasons at Lehigh. Now he will look to finish off his college career with one year of eligibility at a new school. His pure scoring talent will give him an opportunity to latch on and have an impact. Shooting 43.3% from 3-point range on 5.1 attempts per night is elite production. His ability to get to the free-throw line 5.9 times per game is also above average and shows his driving abilities.

UCLA has one of two routes that they can go. They can decide on a three-guard set or they can bring in a wing to pair with two guards. But their best offense comes when they have Eric Dailey Jr. at the power forward position. They received commitment that Dailey Jr. will return in 2026 for his senior season. Giving UCLA a multitude of options as they await Trent Perry’s decision.

UCLA had a decent offense in 2025, but there are guys they can go out and get to take them to the next level. Donovan Dent although he was an elite passer struggled with inconsistencies shooting. Tyler Bilodeau also battled injuries throughout the year which hurt their offense. They lose both of those guys and 31 points per game to go with it. So, they need to be aggressive in the transfer portal and spend some NIL to bring some new faces in.
