UCLA Bruins fans, the team is riding a three-game winning streak after a thrilling last second win against Maryland. Now the Bruins will get ready to head to Indiana to play one of the best teams in the country. With Curt Cignetti at coach coming off of a large contract extension and Fernando Mendoza at quarterback who is a top candidate for the Heisman trophy. The Hoosiers seem prime to make a run at the College Football Playoff.

The game will not only be a big matchup on paper. But it will also be the spotlight Big Noon Kickoff game on Fox. Millions tuning in to see if this magical UCLA run can continue with a big upset on the 7-0 Hoosiers. The UCLA offense will need to play much better in this one if they stand any chance of hanging around in this game.

The defense played lights out versus the Maryland Terrapins. In a 20-17 win their only blemish was a late touchdown pass by Malik Washington to tie the game. Seven of the points did not go to them on a Nico Iamaleava pick 6 earlier in the game. The defense held strong on many situations including 4th and goal which stalled a drive.

Kevin Coyle has completely transformed this defense from one of the worst into a competent one. Guys are willing to lower their shoulders and hit and the pass defense is sticking to receivers like glue. They are also winning a lot of the battles in the trenches.

Indiana will be a big favorite in this game. They are one of the best teams in the country for good reason and they are at home. Will the miracle UCLA run continue or is this where their dream fades. Big Noon on October 25th, see you there!
