Look ahead to week 14 for UCLA vs USC

Both UCLA and USC look to finish out their disappointing seasons

UCLA heads across town to the L.A. Coliseum to wrap the season up. The battle for the Victory Bell has reached another season. USC will be heavily favored as they enter an offseason of unknowns after another disappointing year. UCLA fans are more than ready for their season to conclude as well. A season that had hope quickly turned to disappointment and filled with drama. From stadium moves, to injuries and a coaching change.

A new era is set to begin after Saturday’s game. As UCLA looks to bring in a new head coach that can change the school. It is not going to be an easy job, and it will be imperative to get someone in quickly and ready to work. They are in a better position than they were a few years ago when Chip Kelly left late in the off-season leaving the cupboard empty.

USC on the other hand had playoff hopes for this season. They brought in Lincoln Riley to try and make a big splash and playoff runs. After going 55-10 with Oklahoma guiding them to multiple playoff appearances and Heisman trophy winners. It was seen as dynamite hire that would propel USC into contenders. But at 34-17 over four years, he now sits on the hot seat of a 10-year $110 million dollar contract he signed.

UCLA and USC have gone 2-2 in their last four matchups. This matchup is set to look a lot different as star players could be sitting out for either NFL hopes or transfer portal chances. The game is set for a 4:30 PM pacific standard time start and will be broadcasted on NBC. USC is set for a bowl game; UCLA is set to just finish strong. The end is so close, let’s see how both teams finish out the regular season.
