UCLA heads back to the Rose Bowl for their last home game of the season against Washington. The 3-7 Bruins are on a three-game losing streak and look lost on the football field since their three-game winning streak ended. They have been outscored 132-37 over the last three games and are spiraling towards the end of the season. Which is sure to be met with many changes in players and coaching staff, ringing in a new era to the school.

Washington will be no easy opponent as they are coming off of a 49-13 win over Purdue. Helping move them to 7-3 on the season as they look to make their way back into the top 25 again led by Jedd Fisch at head coach. Fisch’s name continues to be in the rumor mill as a possible UCLA head coach. So, it should be an interesting game as those rumors continue to heat up.
#Huskies head coach Jedd Fisch said “those lists are made by people who have no idea what’s going on” in regard to being a candidate at UCLA and Florida. Also opened up about speculation that his family doesn’t like Seattle. pic.twitter.com/tVJm8PHM0c

UCLA who went to Columbus on Saturday night and lost 48-10. Have a lot of uncertainty heading into the game. Mostly in regard to who will be the starting quarterback. Nico Iamaleava sat out with a concussion and at this point has to be seen as questionable for the game. If he doesn’t suit up, Luke Duncan should get the start again. He did a reasonable job against Ohio State as a game manager and impressed on some throws when the playbook opened up a bit.
Luke Duncan finding a rhythm now and UCLA is driving again.

They will face a Washington team that has a middle of the pack offense but a top 25 defense. They average 28 points per game which is 61st in the nation, but they give up 21.3 points and 331.6 yards per game which is 25th. Their run defense skews the numbers as they are very stout. So, the way to beat them will be to throw the ball as they are susceptible in pass defense at times.
Washington will be the favorites in this game. It is just a matter of by how much. It shouldn’t be a huge line; UCLA is mainly playing for pride at this point. With coaches auditioning for other jobs after this season. Who knows as Jedd Fisch could be trading the away sidelines for the home sidelines with UCLA.
