UCLA will have one more non-conference matchup this Saturday against Long Beach State. It will be their last tuneup before they finish the season with all Big Ten matchups. Beginning next week with Ohio State. The Buckeyes are the No. 21 team in the country and sit at 9-1 on the season. Led by guard Jaloni Cambridge, Ohio State can score the ball very well at 87.3 points per night. They have two top 25 matchups so far this year. Losing to No. 1 UCONN 100-68 and beating No. 21 at the time West Virginia 83-81

It will be a great matchup for the Bruins as they have had a few games away from Big Ten opponents. They sit at 10-1 on the season with three top 15 wins against Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas. Giving the Bruins one of the toughest strengths of schedule this season. The only blemish on their record was a 76-65 loss to Texas. A team that has beaten UCLA and South Carolina and is still undefeated at 12-0. The Longhorns have been destroying anyone in their way and scoring 100 points with ease.

Barring any injuries. UCLA should be a favorite over Ohio State. Going on the road always helps a team. Allowing them to handle different environments, because when March comes around, you are usually not at your home place. You want to be able to play similar level basketball on the road that you are able to do at home. Winning on the road can make her break teams at any level in any sport.

UCLA will have a great chance at winning the Big Ten this season. They will have a grueling Big Ten schedule. But this team is one of the most talented in the nation. Ohio State provides a good barometer, they can score the ball. But they struggle from the outside only shooting 28.5%. They also struggle with getting a second scorer each night outside of Cambridge. They have players 2-8 that can balance the team out. But not enough if Cambridge has an off night. UCLA can get 20 out of six different players.
