Lauren Betts is playing her best basketball this season at the right time. She was absolutely dominant against Oklahoma State on Monday night. Going 15-19 from the floor for 35 points and also chipped in 9 rebounds and 5 assists. As she is starting to put together a big-time March performance in her last dance. Leading UCLA back to the Sweet 16 as they try and put together a championship run.

Betts is also helping her WNBA Draft stock. She is pretty much guaranteed to go in the top five. But with the way that she is playing so far in March, she could easily make her way into the top three. As she is an anchor on both offense and defense. That is very rare to find it any level, and she can do it at the professional stages as well. She operates the offensive end of the floor very well and can dominate the defensive end at any given time.

So far in the NCAA tournament, Betts is averaging 28.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game. There is no player in the nation that is playing better than her on the offensive end in the first two games. She knows this is her final opportunity to get the coveted championship for UCLA. She is doing everything she can to try and make that happen. Her next opportunity will come on Friday against a Big Ten opponent in Minnesota.

The Bruins will need Betts to continue to play at an elite level. If UCLA wants to walk away with a championship this year. They were more than likely need to go through No. 1 overall seed in UCONN. They have looked absolutely dominant in their first two games of the tournament as well. As they just beat Syracuse by 53 points. They have a 36-0 perfect record this year. As they’re the big-time favorites to win another championship.
