Kiki Rice used a great senior season to boost her draft stock for the 2026 WNBA Draft. Yahoo Sports latest mock draft has her coming in at No. 5 to the Chicago Sky. Providing them with veteran leadership right off the bat at the point guard position. As a four-year player at UCLA, she has a ton of experience in big time situations. She will be someone who can step right into the WNBA game and succeed right away. As she can play both offense and defense at a high level.

Rice has come a long way in her college career. She has improved on every facet of her game with the most impressive being her shooting abilities. Coming in as a freshman four years ago, she struggled with her shot. As a senior in 2025 she has shooting splits of 50.4/38.1/89.1. Her 3-point shot improved 17% from her freshman year. Also doing so on much higher volume. Proving the hard work has paid off for her and where she has gotten to over her four years.
Rice has the opportunity to push up even higher in the WNBA Draft. If she is able to go out and have a really good NCAA tournament. There could be a team in the top three that feels tempted to take her. It cannot be stated enough; how elite she is on defense and her way to control the floor on the offensive end as well. That is a very rare duo to be able to find in a player. She can also rebound very well at the point guard position.

It has been fascinating to watch Rice growth in a UCLA uniform. She averaged 15.3 points per game to go along with six rebounds and 4.5 assist per game as well. Those numbers would be even higher on another team; this UCLA team is just so talented. But the way that she shuts down team’s best players on defense is a treat to watch. She can play 1-on-1 or team defense and communicates well with teammates. That will play a huge role at the next level as well.
