Another really good wing player has hit the transfer portal. Jalen Haralson after a good freshman season at Notre Dame will now be available for a new school. With three years of eligibility remaining, he will be highly coveted as a transfer. UCLA would be a perfect fit for him as they’re in need of a wing player. They have received commitments of Eric Dailey Jr. and Xavier Booker who started games for them in 2025 and still await Skyy Clark and Trent Perry decisions.

If they’re able to get a commitment for Perry to return. Then the NCAA approves another year of eligibility for Clark. This team will either be looking for a third guard or a wing. With Dailey Jr. heading back to the power forward position. A position that he succeeded in the last nine games of the season when he moved back there. Scoring in double digits in every single game to close out the season.

UCLA has two straight round of 32 exits and are in need of upgrades. But they have talent on the roster that they’re trying to retain. Then be able to build around those pieces with any transfer portal additions. Joe Philon and Javonte Floyd are the two recruits that they are bringing in for the 2026 class to help as well. A wing like Haralson would be great for this team as he is a very gifted scorer.

Haralson averaged 16.2 points per game for Notre Dame this past season. He did so on 51.5% shooting and only 26.6 minutes per night. Showing there is still another level that he can go to if he can get to the 30 minutes per game mark. He will not get you much in terms of 3-point shooting but if you have Clark and Perry return you have plenty of spacing. This would be a guy you would bring in to operate inside the perimeter.
