UCLA is on a three-game winning streak as they head into a matchup with Indiana today. This is a big game as the Bruins should have a good crowd to welcome in Bob Chesney as the new football coach. Bringing in energy to this program that is much needed. Both for basketball and football. UCLA is 15-6 on the season and Indiana is 14-7. As the team looks to continue their winning streak and making a push towards the Big Ten tournament. Hoping the big upset against No. 4 Purdue was the turning point in the season for the team.

Indiana is on a two game-winning streak coming into this game. They also have an upset win against Purdue recently in their last game. Opening up the Big Ten for teams to make a run. Purdue was the favorite for a while, but they are now on a skid. Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State and Illinois are all still in the top 10. The Big Ten is deep but teams are beating up on each other and it is one of the most exciting conferences in the country. Making for any game to go any way.

UCLA is a 3.5-point favorite in this game and that seems to be gaining steam. The Bruins will have a lot to play for and will have a lot of energy. Tyler Bilodeau leads the team at 18.2 points per game and is playing his best basketball as he looks to continue his ascent onto NBA Draft boards. Trent Perry has also been playing his best basketball since being put in the starting lineup with Skyy Clark’s injury. It has been a much needed boost as UCLA originally struggled when Clark went out.

UCLA has leaned heavily on their defense over the course of their winning streak. They are locking teams up and playing with good communication. The shots will fall eventually, and the defense will be their calling card. The Bruins will need to figure out a game plan to contain senior Lamar Wilkinson. He can score the ball with the best of them in the country at 19.4 points per game. If they can do that, they can piece the rest together and force others to beat them.
