Aidan Mizell was one of the top-rated transfers that UCLA brought in this offseason. As he ranked as the No. 38 wide receiver and No. 143 overall as rated by 247sports. The soon to be junior figures to factor into plenty of playing time with UCLA in 2026. Being a key piece on the outside along with Landon Ellis and Leland Smith. Providing good size for the team at 6’1 and 185 pounds.

Mizell spent the last three seasons at Florida playing sparingly for the team. He is considered a junior still as he only played two games since freshman year. So, he will have the opportunity to play two seasons at UCLA if he so chooses. Mizell in his college career has 38 catches for 404 yards and three touchdowns. His best season coming in 2024 where he had 17 catches for 202 yards and two touchdowns.

UCLA has completely rebuilt their offense through the transfer portal. Everyone at the receiver position is brand new besides Mikey Matthews. With a whole new offensive line with Eugene Brooks, that will give returning quarterback Nico Iamaleava a lot more time to survey the field. Allowing him to hit his receivers that have a lot more talent this season. Mizell is a 4-star transfer for a reason and will now get more opportunities with the Bruins.

Mizell attended Boone high school in Florida before committing to the Gators to start his college career. He has NFL level speed and can flat out fly. Tracking 10.6 seconds in the 100-meter dash. If he is able to get past the second level, good luck, trying to catch up with him. He missed his senior year of high school due to an injury. But as a junior he had 47 catches for 1,003 yards and 18 touchdowns.
