Acaden Lewis becomes one of the best two-way players to hit the transfer portal. He was a dynamic freshman at Villanova last year. Averaging 12.2 points per game on 45.6% shooting from the field to go along with 5.3 assists per game. He has three years of eligibility remaining and that gives him a ton of intrigue to a new school of his choosing. Lewis averaged 1.9 steals per game on the season as well showing his defensive abilities. He will also insert his name into the NBA Draft to get preliminary indications on where he could go and what he could work on.

There are many players on the transfer portal market that can make an immediate impact. Lewis now joins that large group and will be effective on both ends of the floor. For a UCLA team that is looking to improve their offense as well as their defensive tenacity. Lewis would be a star pick up if they were able to go out and get him. He could feel a combo guard position and help force turnovers.
UCLA brings back Trent Perry to lead their offense. As they continue to await the decision from the NCAA on another year of eligibility for Skyy Clark. UCLA should be major players in the transfer portal market to get a third guard. As they are most success this past season came with a three-guard set. With incoming freshman Joe Philon, there has been a lot of intrigue about his game in recent days with highlights as a wing.

UCLA is fresh off of another round of 32 exit. Tyler Bilodeau going down with an injury really hurt their chances at an NCAA tournament run. Now with him graduating out along with Donovan Dent. UCLA will need to replenish this roster of 31 points per game and possibly even more. If they can bring in guys that can score the basketball as well as defend. They can make it to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2023.
