Charlisse Leger-Walker spent four seasons with Washington State before deciding to transfer to UCLA for the 2024 season. A season she would miss due to injury and getting a red shirt year. She entered this season in the starting lineup for UCLA along with Gianna Kneepkens. To try and help be the missing pieces that UCLA needs for a championship. The Bruins do not need her to be their leading scorer. They have plenty of players that can fill up the stat sheet by scoring. Leger-Walker is a good defender and does the little things really well. She is only averaging 8.8 points per game for the team. But she is doing so on career high field goal percentage of 46.3%. While also shooting a career high from 3-point range at 35.1% providing the team with efficiency.
Leger-Walker is also one of six players on the team to average at least one steal per game. She is averaging 1.6 steals per game and providing elite defense. UCLA ranks as one of the best defenses in the country. Which has led to them having 10 ranked wins and being No. 2 in the rankings. UCLA is filled with players that can play both ends of the floor very well. Leading to their tremendous efficiency as a team.

Leger-Walker is also a tremendous passer as she averages 5.6 assists per game. Leading the team in that category. Even though she doesn’t run the point guard position, which is currently handled by Kiki Rice. She has seen her stock rise to possible top 15 pick. There could be a team to take her in the first round due to her versatility. She has gone from high volume scorer at Washington State to smart and confident at UCLA.
