2017 Cactus Bowl: The end of Jim Mora

Jim Mora ended his tenure at UCLA by going 5-6 before being let go and replaced by interim coach, Jedd Fisch. Fisch managed to secure the team’s sixth win to qualify them for the Cactus Bowl, but he would take the loss in the game, 35-17 to Kansas State.

The Bruins finished the year at 6-7 with a 4-5 record in the Pac 12 and after the year hired Chip Kelly to take over the program.
