1995 Aloha Bowl: End of an era

This game was the final of the Terry Donahue era at UCLA. The Bruins faced the Kansas Jayhawks and spotted them a 17-0 first-half lead. Kansas continued to pour it on in the second half and won 51-30. UCLA finished the season unranked at 7-4.

Karim Abdul Jabbar, the UCLA running back, finished as the player of the game for the Bruins, but he was certainly outdone by Kansas quarterback Mark Williams. Williams threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns and ran in another score.
