UCLA Football: National predictions for game against SDSUThis week we have given our predictions and insights into UCLA’s game against San Diego State. Now, here is a look at what the national publications are predicting.
The UCLA Bruins and San Diego State Aztecs are set to face off on this Saturday, September 9, 2at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM PDT and it can be seen on CBS and Paramount Plus.
The Bruins are coming off a 27-13 win over Coastal Carolina in their season opener. UCLA’s defense is a strength after week one play showed, as they held Coastal Carolina to 354 total yards.
San Diego State is 2-0 after a 36-28 win over Idaho State. The Aztecs are led by quarterback Jalen Mayden and San Diego State’s defense is also solid, as they held Idaho State to 343 total yards.
UCLA is favored to win this game by two touchdowns. The Bruins have a more balanced offense and a better defense than the Aztecs.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, UCLA is still a young team and they are still trying to find their identity. Second, San Diego State is a very good defensive team and they will be tough to score on. Third, the game is being played at Snapdragon Stadium, which is a tough place for visiting teams to win. Finally, though, the Bruins should win this game but some national publications are predicting an upset.
