UCLA football: 3 bold predictions for the game against Coastal Carolina
By Ryan Kay
UCLA hosts Coastal Carolina in week one play and here are three bold predictions for the game.
Ethan Garbers will start at quarterback for the Bruins and he started one game in 2021 against Utah on the road. However, Dante Moore and Kent State transfer Collin Schlee are both scheduled to play. Since the 2018 season, former UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson has started 48 of the last 56 games. Here is the first bold prediction for the Bruins’ game against the Chanticleers.
No. 3. Moore throws for more touchdowns than Garbers and Schlee against Coastal Carolina.
UCLA will look to establish the run early and allow the Garbers to get settled at quarterback. Garbers may throw for the most yards out of the three quarterbacks and may see the most playing time against Coastal Carolina but Moore whether he enters the game in the second quarter or in the second half, will look to show what he can do and that should translate to two touchdowns throw the air for Moore.
Garbers and Schlee may throw for a touchdown each but Moore will look to make some deep throws turn into touchdowns against Coastal Carolina.
