71. #Pac12AfterDark is fun but…

You have to understand, 7:30 p.m. west coast kickoff times (10:30 p.m. on the east cast) lead to some kooky games, but in reality, these late kickoffs suck. Though the kickoff times for the season have not been announced, you can guarantee the Bruins will get a few late starts and it won’t be fun. The only time a late kickoff should be allowed is in September because it is so bloody hot durig the day.

72. JJ Molson, another legendary UCLA kicker

Molson has been beyond reliable for the Bruins. In his three years, the kicker is 111/112 on extra points, 43/60 (71.7%) on field goals and has scored 80 points per season which translates to 6.7 points per game. With UCLA expected to play better than they did in 2018, Molson will have less pressure on him and will result in him being able to operate more effectively. The end result: another legendary UCLA kicker. It’s Molson time, baby!

73. If kickoffs are between 11 a.m. and 2:30, bring a hat

Every year we forget that the sun is about a mile from the Rose Bowl in late summer and every year we pay the price. Though the conference should know by now not to kill their Pac-12 patrons (and the players on the field) by scheduling early games, it is bound to happen. With that in mind, bring a hat. And sunscreen. And water. Lots of water.

74. The road to the Pac-12 Championship goes through Utah

The Utah game is going to be an interesting one. If UCLA does not get blasted by the Utes, as they did last year, they might have a shot at not only winning the game but the division. With the instability of the South, Utah will be the most prepared, so if the Bruins want a shot at the title, they will have to pull off a miracle in the SLC.

75. Don’t count out TE Jordan Wilson

When Caleb Wilson went down five games into the 2017 season, Jordan Wilson stepped up and took his place. Jordan saw less time on the field in 2018, but that could change in 2019. It appears as if Devin Asiasi will be the favorite to start, but right behind him will be the Jordan who has proven to be a reliable pass catcher.
