4. WIll Someone Step Up as a Reliable Pass Rusher?

UCLA is in desperate need of a pass rush and the hunt for a head hunter continues. The Bruins have been looking to Odua Isibor and Elijah Wade as the primary weapons in this position, but they are not quite up to speed yet. Currently, Keisean Lucier-South is the best option, but he already has a lot of other things on his plate. Speaking of KLS…

5. KLS WIll Continue to Rock You!

KLS continues to evolve into a defensive mastermind who always has his side of the field on lockdown. Not only is he the Bruins’ top pass rusher (which is not his standard role) but he also suffocates his opposition in zone coverage and is aggressive in his pursuits. That might be a lot to ask of one player, but he seems to have a handle on the situation.

6. Will any RB other than Joshua Kelley shine?

Kelley picked up right where he left off and he continues to grow, but UCLA needs to utilize one or two more. We saw a lot from Martell Irby, but like last season, he will most likely continue to be used in short yardage situations, especially with two other speedsters. Kazmeir showed potential, but can he now make that jump? Keegan Jones joins the Bruins and can get downfield in a hurry, but can he do it consistently?
