In this special episode of the What’s Bruin Show, we take a deep dive into UCLA football’s early signing day 2018 class.

We have a very special episode of WBS2 as host Jake Merrifield and UCLA B Team Podcast host Michael Hanna talk about the early recruiting haul the UCLA football team is bringing in.

We all know that Chip Kelly does not take star rankings into consideration and likes to evaluate talent with his own eyes (you should know this) and even though the Bruins were ranked 49th nationally and 8th in the Pac-12, UCLA got a lot of players that will help out at several positions of need.

The Bruins also landed a few players that were not expected to sign with them, which most definitely some welcome surprises. But Kelly and his staff also whiffed on a few players which will affect certain position groups.

Overall, it was a good class which Jake and Michael discuss at length..
