Incomplete. . Linebackers. . DON PELLUM AND ROY MANNING

Hanna: This one might be an incomplete just because the linebacker corps was just so wracked by injuries. It’s almost impossible to grade anybody.

We saw an improvement in Krys Barnes. Tyree Thompson was not as good as I expected him to be based on his JC film, but there is a clear step up in level from JC to the Pac 12, so that’s not to be unexpected necessarily. And we will be able to judge his work with Tyree Thompson based on Thompson’s improvement next year. And, also, Thompson had a very good game against Stanford; he was impactful against the run against Stanford for sure. He had a couple of tackles for loss against Bryce Love early in the game that really kind of set a tone. So I was pleased to see him kind of stick with it the entire season.

Josh Woods, out for the year. Mique Juarez almost didn’t play at all, or not at linebacker anyway, and then he got shut down for the season. They were so wracked by injury at that position that this is where I’m going to use my incomplete. It’s almost impossible to give a grade here.

Eberhardt: I would agree, and I don’t know well enough to differ with that.
