Prediction

Before the season, the UCLA-Washington game was one that everyone knew would favor the Huskies. Now that we are well into the 2018 season, there is very little hope for UCLA to pull out any sort of upset.

The Huskies are a BMW roaring down the college football autobahn while the Bruins are still trying to piece together a sedan that has barely gotten out of the garage. Yes, Chip Kelly is doing everything he can to get the parts together to turn this sedan into a hot rod, but that will take time but by kickoff, they will not have the pieces together to outrun UW.

Washington is just too strong and they are moving in the right direction. UCLA cannot sustain drives and get into the end zone more than three times per game. On top of that, the number of injuries the Bruins are incurring are forcing them to go deeper and younger into their roster. That inexperience is not going to be a match for the experience of Washington.

With that being said, the Huskies are going to rout UCLA. Unless the Bruins unveil some massive formations and surprising elements to catch UW off-guard, then this one is all Purple.

Prediction: Washington 38 – UCLA 10
