In episode 181 of the ‘What’s Bruin Show’, we take a look at three things that have us concerned about UCLA football’s offense after the non-conference schedule.

In this episode, hosts Jake Merrifield and I take over as Bill Shirley is off on assignment. In the meantime, the two of us give our post-mortem in regards to the UCLA football team’s loss to Fresno State and their 0-3 start to the season.

UCLA lost to Fresno State and it was probably the worst loss of their first three in the Chip Kelly era. The Bruins could not get anything going on offense and surprisingly on defense (which has been pretty solid so far).

With everything that has gone wrong, we have three concerns with the offense and discuss why UCLA has not been able to be productive in the first quarter of the 2018 regular season. I actually wrote those “3 Concerns” on Go Joe Bruin (which you can read HERE) but we go in-depth with each and back those up with stats and analysis of the Fresno State game.

Is there a quick fix, or are we in this for the long haul? We look at a few different ways to look at the situation with UCLA right now.

We then give our take on the drama that unfolded with Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s father after the game. Was he right? Was he out of line? If anything, he did not make this bye week a boring one.
