UCLA Football: A look at the Bruins’ future non-conference opponents
2024
- Aug 31 at LSU
- Sept 7 vs UNLV
- Spet 14 vs Fresno State
Though UCLA and LSU have a home-and-home, their games are not in consecutive years. Their first meeting will occur in 2021 in Pasadena and the second game comes three years later. This time, the Bruns head down to the Bayou and will get a true SEC experience as they try to survive in Death Valley. This will be the second time the two teams meet and hopefully will not be the last. UCLA also starts another series with UNLV and again welcome Fresno State.
2025
- Aug 30 vs Georgia
- Sept 6 at UNLV
- Sept 13 vs New Mexico
UCLA has not backed away from scheduling tough teams, especially against the SEC. UCLA and Georgia have only met twice in their history, with the Bulldogs winning both games, so it is finally time for some payback. Though chances are, not many Bruins fans remember those games as they occurred in 1983 and 1943. After that, UCLA returns to Sin City for a battle with UNLV. They return home for a matchup with New Mexico.
2026
- Sept 5 at Georgia
- Sept 12 vs San Diego State
The Bruins return to Athens for the first time since 1983 and hopefully this time they can come away with a win. This is the second in the UCLA-Georgia home-and-home series and only the fourth time the two teams will have met… unless both meet up in a New Year’s Six Bowl before this. This is the final time (so far) in the planned future schedules that the Bruins will play the Aztecs. Between 2018 and 2026, UCLA and San Diego State will meet four times, so expect this rivalry to grow. For the record, UCLA is leading the series, 21-0-1. UCLA still needs one more game to add to their 2026 non-conference schedule.
