Pac-12 Conference Schedule

-Week of Jan 2 vs California (W) and Stanford (W) 13-2, 2-0

The Pac-12 will be down across the board, but that does not mean UCLA will dominate, although they should. Things start out on a good note in the first week of conference play as the Bruins take down the Bay Area teams with the Bruins getting their first home sweep of the season.

-Week of Jan 9 at Oregon (L) and Oregon State (W) 14-3, 3-1

Unfortunately, UCLA will still struggle on the road as Alford is not adept at getting road sweeps. On UCLA’s first road trip, they will split with the Oregon schools.

-Week of Jan 16 at USC (L) 14-4, 3-2

Though the Pac-12 will be down, there will be a few teams that give UCLA trouble, especially on the road. Even though a trip to the Galen Center is essentially a home game, the Trojans will play the Bruins tough and come out with a win.

-Week of Jan. 23 vs Arizona (W) and Arizona State (W) 16-4, 5-2

It is not often UCLA basketball can say that they get a break when playing the Arizona schools but both play the Bruins once and it is at Pauley, giving the Bruins a huge advantage. Also considering both teams will be down this coming season, UCLA will get this home sweep.

-Week of Jan 30 at Washington (L) and Washington State (W) 15-5, 6-3

Though UCLA should have a lot more talent than both of the Washington schools, once again, the notion that Alford can’t get a road sweep arises and again the Bruins split.
