The UCLA Football team unofficially gets the 2018 season started on Wednesday, July 24 as Pac-12 Media Day 2018 kicks off. Here is how to watch and what to watch for.

It is almost here, UCLA Football fans. The 2018 season is just over a month away but before the season gets started, we need to get an introduction of the Bruins (and the other 11 teams in the conference).

On Wednesday, July 25, Pac-12 Media Day 2018 takes place in Hollywood and we get to preview the upcoming season with the coaches and the offensive and defensive representatives from each program. For the full schedule of podium and TV times for each Pac-12 team, click HERE.

As for UCLA, the Bruins will be represented by new head coach Chip Kelly, junior wide receiver Theo Howard and senior linebacker Josh Woods.

How To Watch UCLA at Pac-12 Media Day

  • TV: Pac-12 Networks
  • YouTube: Pac-12 Networks
  • Live Stream: Pac-12 Live
  • Media Podium Time: Kelly at 3:30 p.m.
  • Pac-12 Networks Airtime: Kelly at 1 p.m., Howard & Woods at 1:17 p.m.

This is Kelly’s first Pac-12 Media Day since 2012 which just so happened to be his last season with the Oregon Ducks. This year, instead of wearing green, he will be donning the blue and gold of the Bruins.

It will be interesting to see how Kelly takes to the media in his first season as the head of the UCLA football program. Though he has been known to take a standoffish approach with the media,  he has been relatively playful, at least from what we saw during spring practice.

Still, Pac-12 Media Day is always an entertaining event so expect Kelly and his players to act in an exuberant manner. What you should not expect is him to give away a lot of information in regards to how he is going to run his team in 2018.

Still, it should be quite the day in Hollywood. One that brings us that much closer to the start of the 2018 season. Go Bruins!
