UCLA Football: Chip Kelly’s record versus the teams on the 2018 schedule
Utah Utes | HC Record (1-0) | OC Record (0-0) | Total (1-0)

Surprisingly, Oregon has only played Utah once, but then you realize this all happen before the Pac-12 had Utah and Colorado in the conference.
Back in 2009, Kelly’s first year as head coach, Oregon and Utah faced each other, though the Utes were still part of the Mountain West Conference. Utah was dominating a group of five conference with Kyle Whittingham in control, so this also means Kelly is 1-0 against the Utah coach, except things are a lot different now.
Despite the fact that Utah is the only Pac-12 South team to not win the division since the Pac-12 formed in 2011, the Utes have been competitive every year, except last year. They uncharacteristically finished 5th in the division. Though many don’t expect that to happen this year and have the Utes competing for the South, Utah loses a lot of key defenders, especially on the line.
That could be crucial as Utah tries to stop Kelly’s run-based offense. Hopefully Kelly has a plan to exploit this and take another one form the Utes.
