The #3 UCLA softball team continues their journey into the NCAA softball Tournament as they are set to take on #14 Arizona for a best of three series in the Super Regoinals. Here is the weekend schedule and how to watch…

The UCLA softball team survived last weekend by winning three in a row after a loss in the NCAA Regionals knocked them into the elimination bracket. Luckily they had the fire power to overcome with wins over Texas State and two against Cal State Fullerton.

That adventure, supplied with its fair share of mini heart attacks, has led the Bruin into the Super Regionals where they will take on conference foe Arizona starting on Thursday.

Despite their mini-stumble in the Regionals, UCLA is still one of the top teams in the nation. They entered the tournament as the #3 overall seed behind #1 Oregon and #2 Florida and are looking to  do even more damage this weekend.

#14 Arizona comes in to face UCLA after three consecutive wins in their Regional over St. Francis, North Dakota St. and Mississippi St. That might have been easy, but it gets a lot harder for them starting Thursday.

During the season, the Bruins only had one series against the Wildcats and ended up sweeping Arizona in Tucson. This time, with both facing off in Westwood, it seems that the odds are heavily in UCLA’s favor. Still, this is the tournament and the Bruins should not take the UA lightly, but after last week, the Bruins should be a bit more aware of how easily a game can slip away.
