UCLA basketball commit, 4-star power forward Shareef O’Neal, recently released his senior season highlight video which contains some epic highlights that should excite Bruins fans.

Despite the fact that he hasn’t sent in his national letter of intent to the UCLA basketball team, 4-star power forward Shareef O’Neal (Crosstoads/Santa Monica, CA), is still committed to the Bruins.

That is a good thing because the 6’9, 205 lbs. son of Shaq is going to blow your mind next season.

and if anything, it shows off his sheer power and overall athleticism. Not only is he going to be a threat down low, but he is building a reputation past simply being “Shaq’s son.”

Now don’t get us wrong, there are some similarities between Shaq and Shareef. Besides the likeness in height, both utilize the violent two-handed slam that usually clears out the area underneath the basket. But if you look closer, you can see that Shareef has developed his own style.

One thing Shareef has worked on is his midrange shot. With his length, he is able to shoot over his defenders, which is especially killer when he executes turn-around jumpers. He also has decent hands and is quick for a player of his size, which makes him a handful for those trying to defend him one-on-one.

Next fall O’Neal comes to Westwood with a cupboard full of big men: Alex Olesinski, Cody Riley, Jalen Hill, Moses Brown and Kenny Nwuba. Though it will be a logjam for minutes, O’’Neal has the talent to not only see a lot of time on the court, but could eventually land a starting spot.
