The UCLA Football teams heads into battle for the final time this regular season as they face Big Brother Cal and Go Joe Bruin tells you what could come of it!
It is the final game of the season and along with trying to become bowl eligible, the UCLA Football team is in transition after the firing of Jim Mora.

With that in mind, OC Jedd Fisch takes over as interim head coach. Though things seem stacked against UCLA, GJB still believes they have a chance to win.

It seems like this team is dead set on getting this one for Jim Mora. While this Cal team has played much tougher than any of us thought they could this year they’ve shown that against superior talent they still have a ways to go. I expect Laird to run for about 120 yards on the ground but Bowers is still up and down and if the Bruins can make Baldwin impatient he may go to a heavy pass attack. Their offensive line isn’t huge inside but unless we get unreal performances from the DL they should be able to move the ball. defensively though they’ve been on a downside with Downs at LB. Bruins can attack the offense in space and Rosen does just that with our OL deciding to make a statement in the run game as well.
Nathan Eberhardt, UCLA 42 – Cal 24
Oddly enough, I think the good showing against USC and the firing of Mora may be the shot in the arm necessary to get this team motivated to play just six days after losing the big rivalry game. The Bruins have the edge on talent here; the only question was going to be one of motivation. With Rosen and others vowing to get bowl-eligible and stay perfect at home in honor of Mora, this might be the most winnable game of the season outside of Hawaii.
David Goldman, UCLA 41 – Cal 31
UCLA will “win it for Mora” in their final game and become bowl eligible in what was an up and down year. Rosen will be lights out and the offense will keep things moving the whole game. The running game will surprisingly have a good game keeping the pass rush off Rosen’s back. The defense will do just enough and get the needed stops to win the game.
Michael Hanna, UCLA 38 – Cal 37
UCLA, given a shot of adrenaline for a post-USC game for the first time in ages, gets up for this one and ekes out a win to attain bowl eligibility as a tribute to Jim Mora. Josh Rosen, who was especially tight with Mora and will want to honor him properly while maintaining the increasing draft buzz around himself, carries over his form from the USC game and carries the Bruins to their sixth win of the season in his final game at the Rose Bowl.
David Rosenthal, UCLA 48 – Cal 28
I don’t know if a “Win for Mora” attitude will overcome the Bruins as much as a sheer desire to become bowl eligible. Josh Rosen will lead the Bruins to their most important victory of the year against a Cal defense that is giving up almost 240 yards a game in the air. If the same Bruins’ rush defense that showed up against USC shows up against Cal, the Bears will have an even more difficult time scoring and this game may turn into a blow out.

UCLA will be a bit distracted to start, but the emotion and feel of the game will kick in and Josh Rosen will take over and led the Bruins to victory. The Bruins will play with a lot of spirit with all that has happened in the last week and though Jim Mora is no longer the coach, the Bruins get the first Senior Day win in what would have been the Jim Mora era.
