It has been a very eventful week for the Bruins including the UCLA Football loss to Utah, decommitments and some social media beef. Beyond the football discussions there was also the elephant in the room we needed to discuss.

It was a packed new episode of the UCLA B-Team starting out with some UCLA Football talk. We started out talking about the loss to Utah and is the “injury” excuse something that we are buying? Injuries are a part of the game and the top programs in the country like Alabama and Ohio State can sustain injuries to major positions and continue to move forward. That’s because they recruit at high levels across the board. Something this UCLA Football coaching staff hasn’t done well.

From there we moved on to discussing why fans should still continue to watch games. Not just in terms of UCLA but when your team hasn’t played well why should you continue to watch games that won’t help you get to a conference championship? We each provided our own opinions with Hanna of course offering up only the most sincere answer.

Next up was another one of our fun exercise sessions where we not only estimated on a scale of one to 100 how safe Jim Mora’s job is but also how likely a handful of potential replacement candidates are. If you’re familiar with our show the names will be familiar to you but it still makes for thought provoking conversation.

Finishing up our UCLA Football talk we previewed the Bruins’ chances against the ASU Sun Devils this Saturday we all agreed on one thing. The Sun Devils are going to have a field day running the rock against this Bruin defense.

Our last topic of the night and boy is it a big one was what we are calling the “Hangzhou Heist”. As you well know three UCLA Basketball players were arrested in China in the past few days and the three of us speculate on what could be the potential punishments could be from the Chinese government and UCLA respectively.
