The Pac-12 Network’s documentary-style show returns for its 5th season which includes a few segments including UCLA Football players.
The UCLA Football team is no stranger to the camera. Three years ago, the Pac-12 Network’s original program, ‘The Drive’, followed the Bruins as they made their way through the 2014 season.
It was a very initimate portrayal of a team trying to find success from the start of fall camp in San Bernardino to the end of the season. We got to learn about individual stories from players and coaches as well as the week-to-week battles the Bruins encountered on the gridiron.
This year, the Bruins are once again getting in front of the camera as the show returns to document the stories of several UCLA Bruins. This time around, ‘The Drive’ will focus on only a few key storylines rather than follow the team the length of the season.
The new season of ‘The Drive’ debuts on Thursday, October 12 at 10 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network. In this new season, the show tells the stories of QB Josh Rosen’s quest, DB Jaleel Wadood and his “superhero” dad and how the team deals with adversity.
Here are some links to previews of UCLA on ‘The Drive’ this season:
- Josh Rosen is on ‘constant quest to be the very best he can be’
- Jaleel Wadood credits ‘Superhero’ dad with keeping him on the right path
- UCLA Football embraces adversity because it ‘gives them a chance to prove just who they are’
- Josh Rosen shares fun facts with teammates
You may know the players on the field, but ‘The Drive’ teaches you about the real Bruins, the student-athletes. If you have not seen the award winning show, now would be a good time to start.
