NBC’s long running variety show, Saturday Night Live, pokes fun at UCLA Basketball dad LaVar Ball for his outlandish antics in a hilarious ‘Weekend Update’ skit.

How does the saying go? It does not matter if people are talking good or bad about you, as long as they are talking about you. Well, welcome to the world of LaVar Ball.

If you haven’t heard of LaVar Ball (get out from under that rock you live in), he is the boisterous father of former UCLA Basketball player

Lonzo Ball

, who is now part of the Los Angeles Lakers organization.

LaVar, for all intents and purposes, is a loud mouth. From promoting his baller kids to promoting his Big Baller Brand to challenging NBA legends to making prejudiced comments, Ball has made quite a name for himself.

Well those comments have not only got him roasted (and praised) by fans and media across the basketball-loving world, but he has now been made a character on the late night show, Saturday Night Live.

‘Weekend Update’ anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost had welcomed to the show ‘LaVar Ball’ (who was hilariously played by long-time SNL vet Keenan Thompson). During the interview, ‘LaVar’ was asked a great deal of questions regarding playing Michael Jordan, his son Lonzo’s soon-to-be success with the Lakers as well as why the “qual-a-teeee” of his Big Baller Brand’s first shoe, the ZO2s, are so expensive.

It seems it was would be easy to imitate LaVar, but Thompson puts so much into it, that what he recited does not seem to far fetched from what LaVar would actually say. I honestly do not doubt LaVar Ball would deny eating 100 turkeys at Thanksgiving. Enjoy.
