With UCLA and Under Armour launching their 15-year deal at midnight on July 1, fans got to see the new products for the first time, with mixed reactions.
They are finally here! Under Armour has landed at UCLA and the biggest apparel deal in NCAA history has begun.
UA and UCLA have rolled out several new elements in regards to the deal and Bruin fans are getting their first taste of what the new UCLA provider has up its sleeve.
But with that, reactions have been both positive and negative as Under Armour is not only presenting a new approach to UCLA Athletics, but also re-shaping tradition.

Under Armour is doing things a little differently and that even means breaking from tradition. Everyone had a lot if hot takes, specifically, on the new “B”. The logo that is similar to that of the Boston Red Sox has always been an alternate logo, but that has changed as UA made one of their own.
There was also concern about the pricing of the new apparel. T-shirts, hat, sweatshirts are now all available to the public, but at a bit off a higher price that many are willing to pay for.
UCLA also did not reveal any uniforms, which was slightly deflating, though the actual release will be on July 15.
Here is what Twitter had to say…

Is it just me or the UA hoodies costing ridiculous at $115?? Which student body is able to afford that?

That I disagree with. We finally have a consistent look and color scheme now, and the new blue and gold really pops.

@GoJoeBruinUCLA And still UCLA and another company do not offer larger sizes on the team shop website.Any ideal if they will come through?

Interesting. So I'm guessing the "Mighty Gold" is seen on this new Football t-shirt. And then "Westwood Gold" is seen on all other t-shirts? pic.twitter.com/4xlBO8YiBw

Not a UA fan, it's all about the $$. Ucla/Adidas was a great relationship, but who cares about relationship, they got out bid.

Did @UnderArmour make ucla adult onesies yet? It's the least they could do

Big fan of Under Armour getting rid of both the clunky 'Bruins' tail on the UCLA script and the 2D drop shadow. Old & current: pic.twitter.com/eFbuidDGg2

As I suspected might happen, the "UCLA stripe" will have a significant and distinctive place in @UnderArmour's branding for @UCLAAthletics. https://t.co/azklWZONvE
