UCLA Football Recruiting: QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson is 110% committed to UCLA, not USC
2018 UCLA Football quarterback commit Dorian Thompson-Robinson reaffirms he is committed to the Bruins after an article insinuated that he is considering USC.
Information can be taken in several different ways, especially if there is some favoritism or hope fueling certain takes. That might have been the case after a Rivals story put out that UCLA Football commit, 4-star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, was considering both UCLA and USC.

In his article UCLA commit open to USC from TrojanSports.com, author Chris Swanson talks to Thompson-Robinson about his commitment to UCLA and how Trojan coaches Clay Helton and Tyson Helton had recently been on the 4-star QB from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.
Though DTR stated definitively that he is a “UCLA guy”, Swanson might have taken a few things he said out of context as he penned a statement in his article that does not seem to line up with what Thompson-Robinson said.
DTR stated that he does not know what might occur with UCLA after next season, in regards to Jim Mora and the coaching staff staying in Westwood.
If by chance something happens, Thompson-Robinson said that he would keep his “options open just for anything that may happen in this upcoming year”. Apparently, Swanson took that as a fact that DTR is considering another school other than UCLA.
"Thompson-Robinson confirms that at this moment, he’s only considering UCLA and USC."
That is not exactly true. Though DTR stated his recruitment could change, he made it clear on Twitter that he is all Bruin.
It is understandable that a reporter covering the crosstown rivals might get a little overexcited about receiving certain information, but you cannot ignore the truth. Thompson-Robinson is not going to the dark side. He is committed to UCLA.
