Even though UCLA Football is in their off-season, recruiting is heating up and Go Joe Bruin gives a brief summary on recent commits.

Just because there’s no college football being played in the off-season does not mean there is no college football. This is a year-round entity and right now, recruiting is heating up for the UCLA Football team.

Things have been looking up for the Bruins this cycle, especially after a solid month of recruiting in April, especially with them landing five commitments. In the last five weeks, the Bruins have landed five 4-star recruits and I, Mike Regalado of Go Joe Bruin, gives a quick run down of the current state of recruiting for the 2018 class with Mark Rogers of MarkRogersTV.

The Bruins seem to have this recruiting cycle off to a better start than last year. With new offensive coaches in the mix and their already solid group of defensive coaches, UCLA has a good hold on their recruiting plan for next year.

Watch as I go over a few of the higher rated recruits and talk about what they bring and how they will help with talent and depth they will bring to Westwood in the next few seasons. From three very good defensive backs to one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation committing to UCLA, I chat with Rogers about how important this this cycle is and how this is a good sign for recruiting going forward.
