The UCLA Football team received another top recruit for the 2018 class as 4-star safety Stephan Blaylock has committed to the Bruins.

BOOM, indeed! That is right UCLA Football fans, the Bruins were able to procure another top talent for the class of 2018 as 4-star safety Stephan Blaylock (St. John Bosco/Bellflower, CA) has committed to the Bruins. Can you feel the Storm Bruin?

Blaylock is the 9th player to give his pledge to the Bruins in this recruiting cycle which is turning out to be a very solid one.

In April alone, UCLA landed five commitments, which included three 4-star recruits: QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, WR Kyle Philips and S Cam’ron Jones.

Along with Jhevon Hill, the Bruins now have three defensive backs committed to 2018. DB Coach Demitrice, like he does every year, continues to put in work on the recruiting trail as he is once again reloading his secondary.

Blaylock will help with that as he brings a lot of raw talent with him.

Where to start with this guy out of St. John Bosco? He is a very physical player for only being 6’0″, 175 lbs. He is very strong and does a great job of wrapping up his opposition. He can deliver the big hits on the run or planted in the ground. Either way, if he gets near his opponents, they will go down.

He is also has great field vision and does a great job spying the ball. If he is not trying to disrupt passes, then he is picking them off. He has great hands, good speed and will fit in nicely with the Bruins’ style of football.

UCLA was able to land this stud over the likes of Oregon, Nebraska, Washington State and Colorado.
