The UCLA Football team released their 2017 schedule which includes games against Oregon and Washington and a final game against Cal (not USC).

If the countdown to National Signing Day has not got you completely stoked for UCLA Football, then maybe the release of next season’s schedule will pump you up for next season.

Today, the UCLA Football released their 2017 schedule which has several very interesting contests the Bruins have to navigate through.

The Bruins once again have a tough non-conference schedule, but that will be overshadowed by a very treacherous Pac-12 stretch.

2017 UCLA Football Schedule

Sept 2 vs Texas A&M

Sept 9 vs Hawaii

Sept 16 at Memphis

Sept 23 at Stanford

Sept 30 vs Colorado

Oct 7 BYE WEEK

Oct 14 at Arizona

Oct 21 vs Oregon

Oct 25 at Washignton

Nov 3 (Fri) at Utah

Nov 11 vs ASU

Nov 18 at USC

Nov 24 (Fri)  vs Cal

So let’s take a deeper look at the schedule. First off, the Bruins start with a slight advantage with two home games, which is good because one of those is against Texas A&M.

The Bruins then hit the road for back-to-back road games at Memphis and then start Pac-12 play at Stanford.

UCLA then comes back home to face reigning South Division winner Colorado before a bye week. Then it’s out to the desert to face Arizona.

The Bruins meet their newest opponents for this scheduling cycle as Oregon comes back to the Rose Bowl, but the following week the Bruins head north to face College Football Playoff contender Washington.

The Bruins then have a short week to work with as they face Utah in Salt Lake City on a Friday night.

Then UCLA is home against ASU, at USC and finish at home on a Friday night against Cal. It is the second year in a row the Bruins finish against Cal and not USC.
