UCLA Basketball fans and critics on Twitter address the letter from Head Coach Steve Alford and his giving back of his contract extension.
The UCLA Basketball corner of the Twitter world exploded Sunday evening in reaction to the letter that Bruin coach Steve Alford.

Along with taking the blame for the season, he also took an interesting course of action when he returned the contract extension he received in 2014.
The letter brought up some intriguing conversations about Alford and the UCLA Basketball team on social media, particularly Twitter.

One thing is for sure: the fan outrage forced Morgan Center to send out this letter.
Though he should never have gotten that extension in the first place, Alford is at least taking responsibility.

One would think that this does take a year off of Alford's buyout, since the buyout was extended a year along with the base extension.
