In Episode 92 of the What’s Bruin Show, we get into deep detail about the UCLA Basketball program as they head into March Madness!

In this most recent episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I welcome back guest host Jamaal Artis of LA Sports Hub as we discuss all things March Madness! That is right Ladies and Gentlemen, even though the UCLA Basketball team has limped into the post season, they still have one more shot at glory.

UCLA starts anew in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament starting today against the USC Trojans. Now do they have enough to not only beat the crosstown rival but also win the whole thing? We give you the low down.

But before all of that, we talk about how the Bruins have limped into post-season as they finished the season 2-6. UCLA Basketball finished sub-.500 with a 15-16, 6-12 record, good for only 10th place in the Pac-12.

It is the worst finish for the program since 2003, the final year of the Steve Lavin era. Because of this, we discuss if it is time to make a change with the coaching situation. It is interesting to hear many sides of this argument, but for the most part, it seems like there is only one way UCLA is going.

We also welcome back Michael Castillo and Alicia de Artola of Reign of Troy back to the show as we have a massive discussion about the first round match-up between UCLA and USC in the Pac-12 Tournament.

We even have a little bit of football talk, HOORAY!!
