In Episode 90 of the What’s Bruin Show, we recap National Signing Day with UCLA Football and examine their huge 2016 class.

In this latest episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I recap a huge National Signing Day for the UCLA Football team as the Bruins bring in one of the biggest classes in the Jim Mora era.

Not only did the UCLA Football coaching staff bring in some of the top players at individual positions, but they filled several needs with some very thin units.

From top to bottom, we analyze this class and tell you about every single new UCLA Bruin as we go through the 2016 recruiting class position-by-position. To get a more in-depth breakdown of each recruit, check out the Go Joe Bruin

As for this episode, we talk in-depth about what certain recruits mean to this program and how the Bruins will perform going forward. As the #7 recruiting class in the country according Scout.com, UCLA once again made a big splash on National Signing Day and it was not because they landed a plethora of 4 and 5-star recruits. This Signing Day was about getting players that would help evolve the program.

On the offensive side, the Bruins claimed several players that will help them move to a more power-oreinted offense. On defense, the Bruins essentially reloaded.

We then briefly talk about UCLA basketball. I stress briefly.
