UCLA gets a huge commitment from Boss Tagaloa.

Today UCLA got a big commitment, literally and figuratively, from 4-star nose tackle Boss Tagaloa (Concord, CA/De La Salle).  The 6-1, 295 lb. Tagaloa is from one of the best high school programs in the nation and is considered to be the best defensive tackle on the west coast.

UCLA beat out Michigan, Washington, and cross town rival USC for his services.  Tagaloa has been one of the most important 2016 recruits for the Bruins and fills in a position of need along the defensive front.

Tagaloa should help the Bruins immediately as he has good size and is very agile for a 295 lb. defensive lineman.  He also has a low center of gravity which makes it hard for opposing lineman to move him in the running game. Boss Tagaloa is a name you will hear a lot and he should anchor the UCLA defensive line for years to come.

Boss joins defensive lineman commits Osa Odighizuwa, the younger brother of former Bruin Owa Odighizuwa, and junior college lineman Nick Terry.  These three will add new blood to a position of need and minimize the loss if Kenny Clark to the NFL.

With this pickup, the Bruins 2016 recruiting class looks rock solid as they are on the brink of a Top 10 recruiting classes and could even end up in the Top 5.

Welcome to Westwood, Boss Tagaloa!
