Wayne Cook is a rarity among UCLA Football quarterbacks as he never lost to the USC Trojans as a starting QB. In fact, in his time as a Bruin, he never lost to them at all. Cook was part of the longest winning streak in the UCLA-USC rivalry.
The Bruins had kicked off the 8-game streak during his time and he continued it with two victories in 1993 and 1994.
Unfortunately, Cook only had one shot at the Rose Bowl. The 1993 season ended with the Bruins taking on the Wisconsin Badgers that resulted in a 21-16 loss,
